The Carrick Bed & Breakfast - Portrush

We had an absolutely grand time! The breakfast was cooked to perfection, especially those poached eggs—just fantastic! Scott was a mighty host, so attentive and friendly. Only drawback was a bit of a workout with those stairs, but it was worth it for the comfy stay.

Superb service, beautiful views of sea from my double room. The staff was efficient and helpful, the bed was very comfy. Amazing location of the hotel near the train station. And right by all local shops and beaches, Portrush and sea front and amenities.

We were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The breakfast was a highlight, with a good array of locally sourced options that Scott personally ensured were to our liking.

While the stairs to our room provided a bit of a workout, Scott's assistance with our luggage made it manageable. It may pose challenges for those with mobility issues.

Its location is unbeatable and nice with free parking nearby.

The stairs were an absolute nightmare, not what I expected from a so-called "luxury" B&B. And I can't believe I didn't receive a complimentary gesture for my troubles! Breakfast was decent, but I had hoped for more than just poached eggs. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Scott gave us the warmest welcome, and the brekkie was bang on-poached eggs cooked to perfection! Our room had a lekker sea view and was so comfy, like sleeping on a cloud. The area was super quiet, perfect for chilling after a day out exploring the coast.

Only downside was wishing we could've stayed longer-two nights just weren't enough!

Scott was a great host. The breakfast offerings were fantastic great starters like porridge and pastries along with mains cooked perfectly.

It was a bit pricey but worth it for the experience.

While the area is quiet, the location feels a bit too isolated, and the room could use some more modern touches!!! The charm of the hotel doesn't make up for the lack of variety in evening activities nearby.
